Marathon Music Works
Originally built in the early 1900s, Marathon Music Works has been restored and adapted to produce a wide array of live music experiences and special events. The venue has hosted a wide range of artists from Garth Brooks to Chance The Rapper to EmmyLou Harris.
Conveniently located just 5 minutes from Downtown, Marathon Music Works is in Marathon Village, a creative community striving to preserve historic structures. The neighborhood is also home to Lightning 100, Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery, Garage Coffee Company, Corsair Distillery, Bang Candy Company, and Antique Archeology.
The William Collier’s Room at Marathon Music Works is an ideal combination of rugged and refined. Once a part of the Marathon Motor Works manufactory, William Collier’s is rooted in history. The logo is the signature of Marathon Motor Cars chief engineer, William Collier, who was responsible for crafting luxurious automobiles a century ago. Embrace with industrial feel with the roll up windows and polished concrete floor. Take note of the custom touches that make this bar unlike any other.
Nashville and New York resident artist, James Willis, hand-sketched the bar top design from original Marathon Motor Car blueprints. The base of the bar itself is constructed from reclaimed wood salvaged from the factory.
William Collier’s has multiple seating areas including high tops, couches and an outdoor patio. Enjoy a cocktail and dive into our whiskey list any day we have a concert, starting at an hour before doors and staying open during the show and post show.
