Artist Info
JoJo
Joanna “JoJo” Levesque is a chart-topping and award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, and a New York Times Best Selling Author. At just 13 years old, JoJo burst onto the scene with her self-titled debut album, whose breakout smash “Leave (Get Out)” made her the youngest-ever solo artist to have a debut #1 single in the U.S. That album went on to sell over four million copies and became the singer’s first Platinum record, which she followed with a string of additional accomplishments, including another #1 single, “Too Little Too Late" and another Platinum album, The High Road. Since then, she’s released several critically acclaimed studio albums, EPs, and mixtapes, and started her own label, Clover Music. In 2020, JoJo's song with PJ Morton, "Say So", won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song. JoJo has also appeared in movies such as Aquamarine and RV (opposite Robin Williams). She recently debuted on the New York Times Best Sellers List with her memoir, Over The Influence. She also recently reprised her role as Satine in Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical. JoJo’s new EP will drop in January of 2025.
Emmy Meli
EMMY is a twenty four year old singer song-writer who grew up as an only child in Long Beach, California. Growing up without any siblings, she said, allowed her to become submerged in the arts. Always interested in art in all it forms, EMMY developed a passion for music, and writing. Her father, a musician and jazz enthusiast born in 1952, passed his taste onto her. She grew up listening to artists such as Barbara Lewis, Betty Everett, Minnie Riperton, The Supremes, and Lauryn Hill. She slowly became all consumed in honing in her musical talents, and used her inspirations to help her find her style. Her years of consistent singing and writing since childhood reflect in her outstanding artistic abilities today. EMMY hopes that if anything at all, she can use her calling to help people feel comfortable being their authentic selves, and become lost in music. Her voice can be described as a smooth, mysterious combination of impeccable technique, and fiery R&B passion.
