Marathon Music Works opened in the Marathon Village neighborhood of Nashville, TN in November of 2011. It was designed to accommodate a range of uses including private events, fundraisers, concerts, corporate events, weddings, and video shoots, among many others. Originally built in the early 1900’s, the building features modern amenities within an historic space that is rich with character and charm.

Black 13 Room
Black 13 Tattoo partnered with Marathon in late 2011 to create a on one of a kind feel for one of three green rooms in the venue. This room has framed artwork from other artists in the shop and arcade games for the venues guests and artists. Black 13 features the art of Josh Woods, Steve Martin, Timmy B, Ryan Thomas, Tye Harris, Amanda Leadman, and Marty “Riet” McEwen. They are located in Nashville Tennessee’s historic Cummins Station and offers a clean, comfortable upscale environment with finest artistry and customer experience.
Gibson Room
Gibson Guitar is pleased to partner with Marathon Music Works to provide its talent and guests with the Official Gibson Guitar Greenroom at Marathon Music Works. Founded in 1984, Gibson is known worldwide for producing classic models in every major style of fretted instrument including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolins and banjos.
Yuengling Room
Yuengling is a proud partner of Marathon Music Works, uniquely creating the Yuengling Greenroom to provide comfort for MMW’s artists. D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, is a family owned and operated brewery built on strong heritage and traditions with a commitment to producing the highest quality Lagers, Porters and Ales for our wholesalers, retailers and consumers.
Community Outreach
We strive to help non-profits in the Nashville community. Every quarter we choose one 501C3 for a discounted rate and sponsorship support. *All of the money that is collected from our paid parking lots is donated to our neighbor, Provision International, which distributes to their non-profit. Provision International is a faith-based organization dedicated to alleviating suffering and abolishing poverty. They have been based in Marathon Village for the last 14 years.
