“Nightmare” Danny Davis, formerly known as “The Nightmare” in USWA and NWA and a former manager
for Jerry “The King” Lawler, founded OVW in 1993.
The company is world famous for training the likes of John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar,
CM Punk, Mickie James, Cody Rhodes, Beth Phoenix and a near-endless list of talent now seen on the biggest stages in the sport and beyond.
The OVW product itself has grown exponentially since its inception. Now the stars of Davis Arena can be seen every week on the two hour flagship program that broadcasts live across the world on FITE!
OVW became the world’s only state certified professional wrestling trade school in 2019, continuing a trailblazing path that the company has set for almost 30 years.
