Artist Info

Arlo Parks

Following the release of her debut book, THE MAGIC BORDER, Arlo Parks is announcing her upcoming North American tour for 2024. The tour, consisting of 18 stops, will commence in late February in San Diego and will see Arlo play her largest headlining venues to date in major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, and New York. Artist pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase on September 26th at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET, while general ticket sales will begin on September 29th at 10 AM local time. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Arlo's debut book, THE MAGIC BORDER: Poetry And Fragments From My Soft Machine published by Harper Collins Publishing, consists of the lyrics from her recent sophomore album, My Soft Machine, as well as new exclusive images by Daniyel Lowden and 20 new poems. Parks' writing has garnered high praise from fellow musician Florence Welch, who described her writing as, "poetry you can taste," with Katie Gavin of MUNA adding, "Arlo Parks pulls beauty around her as a war tactic, and she shares the spoils with us. I am grateful and invigorated." You can order THE MAGIC BORDER HERE.

Alongside the announcement of the tour Arlo is also unveiling her latest offering: a captivating music video for album single "Purple Phase." Shot during her tour in Japan earlier this year, the video immerses viewers in the neon-lit nightscapes of Tokyo, where Arlo navigates the city alone.

Arlo's new album album, My Soft Machine, released earlier this year serves as a testament to Parks' artistic evolution, highlighting her unique storytelling prowess and introspective lyricism. The album, recorded across London and Los Angeles, boasts an impressive array of producers, including Paul Epworth, Ariel Rechtshaid, Romil Hemnani (of Brockhampton), Buddy Ross (known for collaborations with Frank Ocean), Carter Lang (known for work with SZA), and self-production by Arlo herself. Leading up to its release, Arlo graced the covers of Paste Magazine, GQ Hype, The Guardian Film & Music, DORK, MusicWeek, DIY, and Gay Times. This follows her highly acclaimed debut album, Collapsed in Sunbeams, which garnered two Grammy nominations, a BRIT Award, the Honda Mercury Prize, and the BBC Introducing Artist Of The Year Award, as well as chart success and recognition for her advocacy work with UNICEF and CALM, the UK mental health charity.

Chloe George

Chloe George is the most unconventional kind of classicist. The Bay Area-born, Los Angeles-based performer and songwriter makes earnest, rhythmic pop songs that feel undefinable in style but entirely unified in how they feel: she values the emotive heart of a song above all else, putting her in a lineage of greats as well as a new class of pop’s rulebreakers. It’s telling that her first solo release, the viral TikTok hit “ghost town (voice memo)” which has been streamed over 35 million times, is a complete redefinition of Kanye West’s “Ghost Town” that makes the original song feel like a haunting, lost-to-time ballad.

Born to a music teacher mother and a drummer father, and raised in a household with three musical-theater-loving older siblings, Chloe was brought up around music, and felt a connection to the classics from an early age. Upon hearing Ella Fitzgerald for the first time, she felt an immediate connection with the voice not just as an instrument, but as a tool of pure communion — something that, even when wordlessly scatting, could convey those basest, purest emotions. In her brief year since graduating from NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, Chloe has quickly become a sought after songwriter, frequently co-writing with artists such as Normani, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, The Chainsmokers, Macklemore, and more. Her music has always centred the voice, and its power to translate the deeply human into the semi-divine.

It’s this quality that comes through clearest in “Peachi”, Chloe’s first original single. A heart-racing, piano-led introvert anthem, “Peachi” is Chloe in a nutshell: main character music that possesses both the organic fluidity of R&B and the clear-eyed intensity of golden-era pop. It’s a warm, effusive arrival for the young star — the latest in a long line of pop outsiders stepping forward to take a place where she’s always belonged.
